Chapter 52 – For nothing.
Stateam pe pat plangand ca proasta si uitandu-ma la telefonul meu care suna incontinuu de ceva vreme… numar din strainatate . Luate-ar naiba , dobitocule ! Apoi un motor.. tresar si ies in fuga afara.. in fata portii , Cristi pe motocicleta lui de firma . Un Suzuki negru si plin de praf .
Cristi : daca stiam ca e asa mult praf, veneam cu masina ..[ tuseste]
Lora ii sare in brate si incepe sa planga ca un copil..
Cristi : shht..[ o mangaie usor pe spate]..
Lora : multumesc ca ai venit..[ inghite in sec]..
Cristi : multumesc ca ai incredere in mine.. [ se uita in ochii ei]..
In momentul ala , l`am vazut pe Cristi de care m`am indragostit eu . De care eram pana peste cap inebunita si am zambit stins . Ma simteam asa de bine in bratele lui .. Am intrat cu el povestind , razand . Am mancat niste prune necoapte si neam alergat prin curte cu furtunul. Nici nu mi`am dat seama cand a venit seara .. stateam uzi , in fata portii pe bancuta de lemn a bunicii . Ma tinea de gat si eu stateam cu capul pe umaru lui .. priveam apusul si in mine totul era pe dos , soarele abia iesea. Simteam .. fluturi in stomac , o bucurie imensa doar prin faptul ca era acolo , langa mine . Isi aprinde o tigara si incepe sa fumeze povestindu`mi de liceu.. de cand nu am mai trecut pe la liceu . Am ramas o proasta cu 9 clase. Au trecut asa pe nesimtite , alte 3 luni . Cristi a ramas cu mine in tot timpul asta si ne comportam ca un cuplu . Incepusem sa avem prieteni in sat , sa mergem la discoteca sa muncim la casa darapanata a bunicii . Si imi placea… aveam acum 6 luni de sarcina si burtica mea era acum notabila . Dar in seara de 30 august s-a intamplat ceva ce nu o sa uit toata viata.. stateam intinsa in pat , cu castile in urechi in timp ce cristi era la baie . Am simtit un ghiont in mine , am simtit ceva miscanduse . Cand am pus mana , am simtit o lovitura si am realizat ca nu a fost degeaba . Ca toate lunile alea langa dobitocul de Tom nu au fost degeaba.. am zambit larg si am inchis ochii.. urmau cele mai frumoase luni din viata mea .

Chapter 53 – Born this way
25 noiembrie ..
Cine ar fi crezut acum un an ca am sa ajung asa.. ?Cu burta pana la gura , urland intr-un salon de spital . Stateam de 5 ore in chinuri, mi se parea mie . Si in spatele usii era Cristi asteptand nerabdator . Dar nu era singurul care astepta. Si de la atata effort mi s-a taiat firul.. nu mai stiu nimic pana cand am deschis ochii in salon . Langa mine , Cristi zambind..
Lora : unde e ?..
Cristi inghite in sec..
Cristi : unde sunt..
Lora se uita ciudat la el
Lora : ce?
Cristi : erau gemeni..
Lora : erau ?
Cristi : ai nascut doi copii morti , lora..
Lora il priveste adanc in ochi si incepe sa planga
Cristi o saruta..
Era singura data in aceste 6 luni aproape cand a facut asta.. nu ne sarutam , nu ne mangaiam . Dar in momentul ala am stiut ca nu , nu il iubesc . Ii eram doar recunoscatoare pentru ca a stat langa mine , cu mine si pentru ca si-a sacrificat 6 luni din viata . Inima mea , corpul meu , toate tanjeau dupa tom. Ii ignoram pe cei ce ne ignora , ii adoram pe cei ce ne ignora.. Dar el nu m-a ignorat. Era afara , in holul spitalului impreuna cu bill .
